Tim Colceri was born on June 15, 1951 in Canton, Ohio. When he was 2 years, old his parents moved to Phoenix, Arizona where he grew up. At age 18, Tim enlisted in the Marine Corp., spent 13 months in Danang, Vietnam and was discharged on his 20th birthday. Tim immediately enrolled at the Arizona State University, majoring in physical education with his sites on being a wrestling coach. While at the university Tim played on the golf team for three years and upon graduation turned pro. Three years later Tim cut a tendon in his little finger and was force to find a new profession. He went into the Victoria Station Restaurant near the Miami airport and told them he had worked in many restaurants. They hired him and he worked there for three years. Tim then got a job with Braniff Airlines as a flight attendant. He worked out of Dallas, Texas for about a year and then moved to Los Angeles. His flights took him to Guam, Korea, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Singapore.
A friend of Tim's who was taking an acting class said to him "You've got lots of energy, maybe you should try acting." Tim's immediate response was "No way. I'm not into that. They all think they're cool." After much insistence by his friend, Tim when along with him to his class. Tim had never seen anything like this before and just knew he could do it. The next day he went back and tried it. Right then he knew that this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life and has been doing it ever since.
